By accessing and using NutriLabel Pro (https://labelfacts.net), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

NutriLabel Pro provides a free web-based tool that allows users to generate nutrition facts labels based on data fetched from the USDA FoodData Central API. The tool is designed for informational purposes and to assist small businesses, cottage food makers, and home bakers in formatting nutrition information.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

Please read this section carefully, as it limits our liability.

  • No Official Affiliation: NutriLabel Pro is an independent tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), or any other government agency.
  • "As Is" Basis: The service and the data generated are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • Accuracy Not Guaranteed: While we strive to follow FDA 2020 formatting guidelines and use official USDA data, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or regulatory compliance of the generated labels. Variations in ingredients, processing methods, and portion sizes can significantly alter actual nutritional values.
  • User Responsibility: It is strictly the user's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the final label. We strongly recommend having your nutrition facts reviewed and approved by a qualified food scientist, registered dietitian, or regulatory consultant before using them on commercial product packaging.
  • Limitation of Liability: In no event shall NutriLabel Pro, its creators, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, fines, recalls, or regulatory actions.

4. Intellectual Property

The design, formatting, code, and aesthetics of the website are the property of NutriLabel Pro. The generated PDF labels, once downloaded, may be used freely for your personal or commercial packaging. You may not, however, attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from our underlying services.

5. Third-Party Links and Ads

Our website may contain advertisements or links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by NutriLabel Pro. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
